Hi! My name is Ryan Jackson. I am a Financial Professional with Cooper Financial Group, LLC. I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. I played baseball growing up and into college where I transitioned into a lacrosse player. Through my years of sports, I realized the value of teamwork. I spent the first 13 years of my career as a wine and liquor sales representative serving all types of customers. I also worked in the restaurant industry as a server for many years. I am an avid outdoorsman, love spending my time hunting, and traveling with my wife. I am always looking forward to the next adventure. At a very young age, I was taught the importance of money/finance management by my grandfather who was in the banking industry. He always told me, “You must pay yourself first because no one else is going to save for you.”
I never realized how influential that would be until I met my mentors Brad Cooper and Chris Cox. They have taken me under their wing and taught me the business model of Holistic Financial Management. In my opinion there is no better way to manage a client portfolio. I strongly believe in educating clients and helping each client understand investment choices to best suit their current and future financial goals. My goal is that through a strategic holistic financial plan all clients can understand and reach all their personalized retirement/investment goals.

Throughout his 30 years in the industry, Chris has learned the value of building lifelong relationships with people who want to be treated as individuals, rather than just numbers. He recognizes that everyone has a story, and every story matters. My name is Jose Rodriguez a Financial Advisor with Cooper Financial Investments, LLC. My financial services career started in 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio where I fell in love with educating clients on how to achieve their personal financial goals.
After being in the industry for several years, I realized that the best opportunity to serve my clients was by building genuine relationships. Each client and their story is unique and personal. Therefore, each path to meeting their financial goals will be unique. I’m able to achieve this at Cooper Financial by actively listening to and learning about our clients and their needs.
We build lifetime relationships and give strategic wholistic planning options. Serving others and helping them achieve their goals is my commitment.
I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Economics with a minor in Data Analytics. I am an endlessly curious person and love to learn new things. If I’m not learning about a new hobby or working out, I am most likely cooking something interesting for my girlfriend. I’m a proud father of two dogs and a ball python: Chester, Stella, Echo.
I’ll never forget the day I learned about money. I was a Police Officer, and a friend introduced me to what I now call: “Commonsense Money Principles.” You’d think I’d have been excited learning about how to manage money, but I wasn’t – I was angry.
I had all these questions flying around in my mind like:
“Why didn’t I learn this in school?”
“Shouldn’t our education system care about teaching financial principles?”
I came from a modest background, where people worked hard, and you married your high school sweetheart. I couldn’t stop thinking, “Someone needs to teach the average American how simple financial planning can be.” Turns out, God was calling ME to be that “someone.” So, I shifted careers and vowed to educate people on how simple financial planning can change their life.
For the first part of my career, the company I worked for was more focused on managing money than on education, so I kept feeling like I was not living up to part of my vow. That changed in 2006, when my brother Bruce died suddenly of a heart attack at age… 49. He was newly married and had diligently saved all his life so he could retire at 60 to “enjoy his life.” In my grief I thought, “Bruce sacrificed to reach his retirement goals; he planned and planned and planned— but he never actually lived his life.” I wondered, “What was the use of all that planning if he never enjoyed the fruits of his labor?” This realization weighed heavy on me. I immediately thought, “I want to teach people how to plan for the future while also living for today.” But to do that, I need to become a different kind of advisor. So, I started a full-service financial planning firm, centered on education. Soon after, I saw that no matter how much money people have, they are torn the way my brother was, between planning and living. But with the right guide and a bit of education it doesn’t have to be that way. That’s why for the past 16 years… I’ve created financial plans that not only provide my clients with guaranteed income for life…
But also, ample education… So, my clients will never again be so terrified of spending money that they never actually live their life. Nothing fulfills me more than seeing the relief and excitement on my clients’ face when they realize, “Wow, we really can have both.”
This is why I do what I do. And if we decide to work together, I’d love to show you how you can have both too.
